Sometimes children are too young to cooperate, have special needs that reduce cooperative ability or
simply feel uneasy about dental treatment. If we feel that there is a need for something to offset your
child’s anxiety or sedate them either mildly or completely to accomplish the necessary dental
treatment, we will consult with you about their personality and individual needs to determine the best
way to make them feel comfortable. Your child’s safety is very important to us, and we always follow
the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry sedation guidelines.
